I thought about organizing a golf outing for those that were interested in PV, but we've really decided not to organize any group events outside of the WD and Wedding itself.

But - I thought it would be nice to put some nice golf course options on our website. Problem is - I don't know any!

Do any of you have any recomendations, or "stay away from" tips?

Thanks!

A guest of mine golfs and is all excited to go to the Vista Vallarta Nicklaus course. It was used for a PGA tournament at some point but that's the most I know - sorry . . . check tripadvisor.com too, often they have personal reviews of local attractions. Hope that helped a little ;o)

I haven't heard from anyone who's played down there yet. But we're going in just a few weeks for my friend's wedding and are going to play the Vista Vallarta Nicklaus course while we're there. I'll make sure to post a review and try to take some good pics! And I'll keep my ears open for any info on El Tigre.

I've heard good things and tripadvisor had a good review on it.

I'll keep you posted! :-)

i actually didn't leave the resort at all except for my hair trial, and the wedding. that sounds sad, but i just wasn't in "exploring" mode that week at all - and normally we are. we knew that we'd be doing a lot of that the following week in Hawaii, after the wedding. we were all about just hanging around the resort with friends and family. i know that Jamy did a lot more around PV so she'll probably have a few tips. she's usually on a little later at night.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
