Best Wedding Planner/Organizer?

Recommended Posts

I got from walgreens this binder and it is flimsy and you can adjust it if you need to make it bigger! It is great I love it, it has 4 folders inside it plus regular paper and grid paper in the back. it is made by Mead and it is a five star. It is blue and the side has material holding them together. I hope that makes sense!

I bought one.. $20 something at Barnes and Noble.. have barely used it.. Here's what I did do though that's a life saver.. there's so much info out there. I made a structure of folders on my desktop all inside "Cabo". Hair and Makeup, Outfits, Cake, Reception, etc. Anytime I see a picture I love, it goes in there.. helpful tips get copied to a Word doc and put in correct folder.

I also created a large document in Quark that I have sent over to my coordinator. The entire thing is too large to send at one time, 20 something pages, but my girlfriends and family have enjoyed looked at my "idea book" to see how things are going.

I keep everything in folders on my computer too. I did buy a binder from Target also. Once I make a final decision on something, it goes in the hard copy binder. Like, one I picked my vendor, I moved the signed contract into the hard binder. That way, when it's time to go to MX for site visits and the wedding I have all that ready and with me. I am also going to print out the valuable emails and put them in there before the wedding.

I have a 13 pocket expandable folder which are seperated into "my dress, bm dress, flowergirl, flowers, other decor, groom/gm" etc! I throught everything in there that I rip out of mags or have printed from the comp. I also use folders on the comp. Every 6 six I clean it out.

My cousin gave me a wedding organizer and I haven't touched it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
