Where did you get your silk fans from?  I've been looking but have not had much luck.
Thanks!

This list & excel sheet are awesome! Great ideas from everyone, thanks!  I was debating on doing OOT bags as well but after reading this I am going too.  The hardest part for me will be finding a perfect bag.

When do you give these bags to your guests? I was not planning on meeting everyone as soon as they arrived. The resort gives you champagne & wet towel while you check-in & then they will be walked to their room. I want to make sure they have the full check-in experience without me bothering them. Should I wait till after they settle in? I also read on a thread that some resorts will charge you if you want to put the bags in their rooms before they arrive. Not sure about this though...

I have plenty of time & this is what I am worried about!! lol!

We are giving the bags out at our welcome breakfast the day after everyone arrives.  We are going to hang out in the lobby as people arrive and give them an itinerary (so they know to come to the breakfast since we aren't doing pre-travel brochures)  for the week and a quick welcome  and then let them get settled.  In my experience, the champagne and wet towel are passed out while you wait in line to check in (servers with trays and you take one if you want)  so you stopping in quickly to welcome them shouldn't interrupt that really.  Just a suggestion!  Most hotels charge a fee to put them in each room - ours is $3 per room I think!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
