OOT bag contents - **Master List of Possible Items**

Recommended Posts

DeAngelis2Be,

I was speaking to one of my friends whose from Jamaica and she informed me that mailing stuff down there is tricky.....you best bet she said is to get  a bunch of friends and family to carry stuff down for you. This way you won't be paying tons of money yourself for baggage and not stressing whether or not your stuff will make it there, then make it through customs etc.  that's what Im doing, I've already told me wedding party to expect to be carrying things down for me and actually, some of my friends have offered too.

 good luck

Have you tried Costco or Sam's Club. I thought in the beginning that I wanted to buy it in bulk and saw it at Costco (they were in boxes of like 16). I ended up not getting the boxes cause it was just too many to get close to the number I needed.

I have searched on their (costco) website and didn't see them.  I have to check out their store though here close by.  I did find another website that had them bulk, but we just received RSVP's for a few more people and I don't know if it will be enough.  I may buy the bulk package and then a few additional ones for the extra people!  We do not have a Sam's Club around, but I will check the costco close by.

Thank you!!

  • 1 month later...

I would wait until the ceremony and have your wedding coordinator (or a bridesmaid) set one out on each chair before your guests arrive to the ceremony site.  That's what I'm going to do :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
