OOT bag contents - **Master List of Possible Items**

Recommended Posts

Very helpful list. Complete Noob question here: what does OOT stand for? I figured out STD (although trust me there was some confusion on that one wink.gif ) and AHR but I can't figure out this one. I was at a DW in Domnican this past January, and there was nothing like this handed out. Are they fairly common, and expected?

Thanks

How about a travel pillow and eye shades?

The travel pillow may not be used in the vacation itself, but it'd be a great gift for the guests' long trip back home. The eye shades could be both used on the flight and the hotel for light sleepers. I know I would find it useful if I wanted to sleep in a few extra hours when the sun was up. =]

Just in case people were interested, I found these two items on ebay for a dollar a piece in bulk, no minimum purchase and free shipping on ebay.

OOT stands for Out of Town. I went to a destination wedding last April and they were handed. I don't know if they're expected or anything, but I loved the idea myself, which is why I want to do them.

I'm trying to keep the cost under $15 per bag. And we are doing one bag per couple, not per person. So far I have:

Deck of cards 0.33 each from the dollar store (pack of 3 for a buck)

First aid kit - includes bandaids, antibacterial cloth, gauze, tape for $1.25 from dollar store

Towel tabs - just add water for instant facecloth $0.30 each

Hand sanitized 3 pack for $1

I'm contemplating bags from vista print with a logo or canvas bags from cheap totes.com for 0.99 each

I also want to get aloe/snacks/lanyard key holder/travel mugs/puzzle book/welcome brochure. Depends if I can find all that stuff and keep it within my budget.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
