what NOT to do when shopping for a photographer

Recommended Posts

I completely agree that you shouldn't shoot her weddding, however I hope you come up with a good excuse and still be polite. Although she was a total beast, it sounds like perhaps she is a rich snob. Sadly, rich snobs are always on their cell phones with someone. I would hate for her to tell a bunch of people that you are difficult to work with. Especially clients who could potentially bring in big dollars.

Sorry you had to waste your time sad.gif

omg! That's ridiculous!! Do you photographers have a secret way to "blacklist" her or something?! lol! j/k! But it is really stupid that she wasted your time and was so rude/immature about it. I wouldn't want to work w/ her either! I'd totally put her @$$ on hold or something irritating like that next time she calls! But maybe that's just 'cause I'm hungry and grumpy?!! girl_werewolf.gif

That is pretty ridiculous! I hate when people can't take their cell phones away from their ear. Even worse, is that she set up an appointment to waste your time. You would think that as a bride trying to choose her photographer she would want to see a ton of your work, but she wasn't even interested....very strange!

But I agree with the comment about still trying to be nice to her. That is the bummer thing about sales, you have to be careful not to burn potential bridges, eventhough you really want to tell her off and burn that potential bridge to the ground.

What goes around comes around....she'll get her's in the end!
