Good news girls. My hair looks much better... not perfect but better. I am not going to that salon again. It was too awkward having to go back in there... Anyway, I WILL be going to one of the salons you wonderful ladies reccommended. Thanks so much for helping out and I am SO excited to see check out their talent!

The girl redid my hair and didn't charge me, I didn't tip her. I felt kind of bad being that I always tip but I figured it was her fault I had to come back not mine. Plus, I didn't have any cash on me so whatever.

I'd have slapped her silly!! I've only dyed mine a few times and everything it goes ginger lol
What happened was she was putting in a low light to break up the blonde some. Well, she used this color and it decided to take an orange color after I left the salon. By about 11 that night all the streaks were orange and the bottom was orange. So, she went back through it and used a brown color to cover it up... now the underside is brown!! Which is not what I wanted but she had to cover it up. I will take a picture in a bit and post it. It still has a redish/orangish tinge to it. But right now I will take what I can get. It is an hour drive for me to the big city and I am really busy trying to get everything in order for the trip ya know? So whatever as long as I am not carrot orange it's all good!!
I am naturally blonde but since I don't live in Cali anymore and I am not in the sun as much I don't get the really pretty highlights I use to have. Apparantly it is too hard to recreate in this town lol! Oh well live and learn!

I may be too late (I just saw this thread) but if needed, I will highly recommend Kimberly at the Michael Raymond Salon on Preston at Forest. They have other locations, but Kimberly is the best and she is at the Forest salon. She is a trainer there and is friends with the in-house color specialist. She has fixed all of my friends hair mistakes. Tell her I sent you (ashli - she will know which one if you say I'm getting married) and she will take care of you!!

I'm glad you got it fixed for your wedding, but if you ever need her, I can't say enough good things about her!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
