I only have a couple of dates that work for my wedding and all those Saturdays are booked. They can do it on some of those Fridays though, but I feel like it would throw the whole weekend off. Like asking people to take off that much work, and I guess we wouldnt be able to have a welcome dinner. What do you guys think?

There is one Sat. that is REALLY inconvenient for us, but it's available. If Friday weddings don't sound appealing, I guess I will just take the Sat. one...

We had our wedding on a Sunday and it worked out perfect. We had some guests that couldn't afford longer than a weekend so they came in on Friday and left Monday (my family included). We had a welcome dinner on Friday and went into town afterwards to party in Cabo, relaxed on Saturday, and Sunday was the big day..

Sunday may be another option for you.

It's gotta be at Dreams?? Why don't you try other Hotels with nice views like Hilton, it's just a few miles next to Dreams, so the beach is the same pretty much (we did a wedding there once, and it was beautiful). Have you tried Westin Regina? The architecture in that Hotel is award-winner and a perfect location for beautiful pictures. I can recommend lots of hotels, most of them I've work in, and maybe you'll find a place that can accommodate to YOUR requirements not theirs.

Let me know if there's something I can help with. Good luck!

I am doing a Friday too. My plan is:

wed ~ guests arrive, welcome dinner (or something like that)

thurs ~ Chill out and relax. Or anything else the guests choose to do

Fri ~ wedding and pARTY!

Sat ~ chill and recoup

sun ~ guests leave

I sort of thought friday was perfect for my situation. I dont think the day matters when your on vacation. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
