I really like both Nia and Tyra's styles. I have no clue on types of hair I should purchase or length. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here are pics of them done individually, the technique is also known as lacing.

These can also be done with longer hair.

Hair Pics from a random search on google. I can't find many natural styles besides a big bangin afro w/ a flower in it. If anyone sees any naturally textured updos plz post.

more questions about tree braids. how will the hair hold up after it gets wet? what will happen when you have to wash it? i have heard of people with weaves saying it took hours to detangle their hair after washing. i definitely do not want to spend hours of my time doing that.
danyelle. this is one of my hairstyle options.

here are some other styles i have found

i really love this one, but it would be my own hair and i don't think it will remain looking good for two weeks of getting wet, washing, humidity, etc.

i can't really tell what is going on with her hair here, but i like it. i think my hair may be too long to achieve this look.

Now the kinky braids should last longer then two weeks if you have them done with synthetic hair and are very cute!
