Chocolate Brides: Hair Question

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies! If anyone is interested I am selling my feather headpiece that I wore on my wedding day for $50. I originally paid $85+ tax. You can see it in my pics in my siggy or I have a thread here: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t47125

I also have my beautiful TTD dress and wedding dress available.

Thanks!

Mesita

I hope that shows up.
I like this style, I think it'll be sweat and heat friendly for the big day and last for pix. Plus it's relaxed and easy so I can do it myself and not stress out about someone possibly jacking me up.
I love this! I plan on doing something similar...

For the brides who wear thier hair natural..any sugegstions on products to bump up and hol dyour curls. My profile pic my hair is staight because I flat iron but it isn't relaxed so will NEVER keep in JA

So I went for my hair trial and I really like the results. Low updo, simple style in the front. I'll post pics when I get a chance. The problem was though FI liked it, I could tell that he really wants me to wear my hair down. I will only be comfortable with that though if I have more length so I'm looking for some good clip-in human hair extensions. Anyone have any recommendations? I want to keep it under $100 since this is an unexpected expense. My hair is already about 4 inches past my shoulders so I'm thinking a 12 inch should be plenty, right? Any help would be appreciated.

I was having the same problem.. luckily, my current hairstylists LOVES to travel and she will come to the wedding :).. I sense a free do in my future. Keep in mind though, people that generally come to resorts are all coming from "somewhere" that means different hair textures are constantly being introduced the the stylists. Ask the onsite stylist how long they have been doing hair and if they have experience with African american hair.. you never know they might be better than your current stylist..

I'm natural and just use mousse when I need hold. I'm a member of a hair forum that often suggests Fantasia IC gels... but I don't have first hand experience with it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
