I'm excited! We (finally!) decided on our location and chose Vegas. This is great news for my hair, cuz now I have more options. I was going to do a natural curly chignon or some updo that would beat the caribbean humidity, like this:

 

But now that I'll be in a dry climate, I'm going to be able to straighten my hair and wear it long and loose or half up. I'm looking at something like:

MysTea, I think I may have some before and after pics of my own hair when I did my BKT. Though in the pics you won't probably see much difference cause my hair is relaxed, its really when I would wet my hair you would see a major difference. If I find them I will post them.

Hello Ladies! Here is the hair style I am considering having for my wedding and the head piece.

 

But I never took the humidity into consideration until it was mentioned on here. So I guess I'm back to square one. :-(

I have dreadlocks and I am assuming I should have no problem getting them done right while in Jamaica. I'm considering bringing my stylist as a possible option, but I don't really want to pay for her stay or flight since we're not really friends. We have a decent relationship, but I'm just one of her clients and she's just my stylist who is cool, kwim? Not really thinking that warrants me spending about $900 bucks for her to come.

hey ladies! So happy to find this thread. I had been thinking about how to wear my hair. I think my style is more along with mssmithtobe but not sure how to execute it without my hair dresser. She claims she is coming but i'm definitely not holding my breath. I will try to attach the pic. If anyone has suggestions on how i can do this my self please let me know.
