Thank you that would be great. Its been a week or so and still haven't heard from her. I just want to pick a date so we can book the hotel. I guess she must be very busy.

My email is Jennifer521s@aol.com

Sorry I didn't know it was a short version, maybe we can find the full version. I watched it the other day with FH and said hey that gazebo looks familiar?? and sure enough I looked it up..GSP!

I got married at the Grand Princess Riviera on Feb 1/2010. We choose to get married on the beach, because it was what we had always pictured - but the gazebo is beautiful. If you want to check out my photos they are at Saskatoon Photographers Saskatoon Wedding Photographers Memories by Mandy Photography in the blog under the March tab on the side to find them.

Patricia was our wedding planner and she was an absolute sweetheart! I can't sing her praises high enough, she's a doll. Ever detail was taken care of, and even when I was asking for over the top things, she just smiled and said Don't worry Robyn - it's no problem! Amazing lady!

I'm unsure what type of reception to have, and I know I have lots of time but those of you who did not have or are not having a private reception where did you do your first dance, parent dances, speeches? Any chance of doing this anywhere without a private reception? Any suggestions would be great.

Hello

I am getting married there next month and we went with the princess package only. I have been told that you can either do your speeches with the champagne and cake or at the A la Carte resturant. Apparently they try and keep you some what seperated from the rest of the guests for dinner. I am also planning to do my first dance after dinner in the lobby.

hope this helps

Thank you so much for this information. Do you think you would be able to pick your own music for your first dance?

Also where do we have the champagne and cake, at the gazebo?

One more thing, do you know where I can find pictures of the restaurants that we are allowed for our reception ( a la cartes) ? Were you allowed to choose or is it based on availability?

Thanks :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
