I believe someone mentioned this on a post earlier, but maybe it should be reiterated for those of you skipping to the end of the thread. Someone suggested writing your emails to the coordinators in Spanish (Yahoo! Babel Fish - Text Translation and Web Page Translation works great for translating). I tried it and am definitely finding that I get a quicker response! Diana still wrote back to me in English.

Interesting that you mentioned that. I had FI write my last e-mail in Spanish and it still took a while for her to respond AND she also responded in English so instead of waiting to get FI to translate again I just continued in English. Sometimes she's fairly quick but most of the time it takes a couple weeks for a reply.

 

Is there another November 14th bride on this thread?

We just booked our wedding date for April 23, 2010. We will be arriving at the resort on the 20th. Looks like we are JUST going to miss each other :-(

Hi Ladies, can someone tell me if it's true you need to be at the resort 4 days prior to the wedding date not including Saturdays or Sundays in order to have a civil ceremony? I am finding this extremely difficult as Sunwing is the only company that has packages to this resort and they only fly on friday, sat or sundays.

 

Please let me know if you've heard any different?? I've seen some people posting they are not getting there 4 days in advance

Hi Shanny, have you had any problems arriving the 20th and getting married the 23rd? They keep telling me I have to be there 4 days before not including sat or sun. Does the day you arrive and the day you get married count?

I am flying in on a Saturday and getting married on the Wednesday. When I asked if it wasn't enough time, they said it's fine.

I thought it was only 3 days that you needed to be there before hand.
