    Did you have music playing when you walked down the aise??
    Hmmm.. well maybe I should just rent the equiptment and just have one of our friends do it for us. We did that for a friends wedding last year and it seemed to work out great.

     

    How was the food overall throughout the hotel?

    What room did you stay in?

     

    With the symbolic ceremony (which we are also doing).. how was it? Was it heart felt..

    Is there any advice for us future brides???

      My wedding is August 11th 2012.. just a week before yours! And us too are having a reception back home once we return so we unsure what we want to do after the ceremony also.  Have you been talking with any wedding coordinators at the resort yet?

          My wedding coordinator is Mayra... but they've changed so many times I can't really keep track. (Before her I had Vanessa) So far all I've done is given my deposit for the date, reserved the time for the ceremony and put a deposit down with a photographer. So... I know there's ALOT to do ... it's a little overwhelming, considering they take FOREVER to return my emails.

           

          Have you gotten an official contract yet?

            you look beautiful and I am so happy it all went well for you, so you would recommend the sunset princess gazebo rather than the riviera gazebo. my daughter is having the beach party after a symbolic wedding, hopefully all works out well - did you have a choice of colours on the flowers, chair sashes etc ?

              Hi There, when in April 2012 are you getting married my daughter is getting married on the 16th at 4pm, we are dealing with Angelina and she has been really good answering my emails. We are having the beach party $85 US per person with the Infinity Package $800 US and paying extra for the center piece, not sure if we will do the wedding on beach or one of the gazebo's. We may book the resort photographer if he will do trash the dress. So far we have 48 confirmed/booked with maybe some more still to book. Once, we have everything in place we will start looking into music and other things etc. It is upsetting that we do not get any discounts from the packages especially when you are paying the extra $85 per person because your not using the meal portion of package.

                  I don't think Mayra is there anymore.. I believe Emma took over her weddings? I MIGHT be wrong but that is what I have heard.  As far as a contract goes, Emma emailed me confirming that they have recieved my deposit and confirmed our wedding date and time.  Nothing else though. How about you? What photographer did you deicde to go with? I was just researching that the other day and couldn't decide what we should do. There are SO many decisions to be made still.  I am hoping as it comes closer to our dates that the WC's will be alot more easier to work with!

                    I am flying on 16th Oct and getting married on 25th Oct and I have e-mailed the resort a couple of times over the last month wanting to check they have everything they need and I still haven't heard from them and I fly in 11 days!!!!! Not happy at the moment.... I have now spoken to my travel agent and they have confirmed everything is ok on the legal side of things, just hope that all my choices will be right when I get there as I was dealing with Mara then Alana and now people are saying Alana has left and Emma has taken over!!!!!!!  I just wish they could keep their wedding co-ordinators it would make our lives so much easier!!!!                       Just got an email from whoever is the coordinator now... they want to change the time of my ceremony, but I didn't catch her name. Grrr!! So frustrating! They drop a bomb like this on you and then don't return any emails you send them. What time is your ceremony? I know it's still early and I shouldn't stress out, but I do. 

                       

                      I'm using Sweet Caribbean Photo. I actually went to the hotel and visited last year. I met with the photographer and LOVED his stuff. They also are REALLY reasonable with their pricing.

                       

                      I can't wait to start planning fun stuff, like choosing the flowers! I may end up doing dinner at one of the a-la-cartes.... haven't really decided.
