Grand Sunset Princess Resort

Recommended Posts

Hi AmandaLei,

Congratulations to you as well.. Are you having the vow renewal package or the Princess package? I believe both are symbolic and don't require you to arrive 4 days in advance.

Have you received pictures of bouquets and boutonniers? What about the menus? Did you include food options on the menu?

Thanks!

Hi steitzer23, I've booked the resort photographer. We are getting married on April 17th. What is your wedding date? I could let you know how I get on if there's enough time between our wedding dates. I have only booked for them for the ceremony and beach photos afterwards as my dad has his own photography equipment and wants to do the rest himself. Best wishes Mel

Congrats Stephanie - If photography is important to you, it's highly recommended that you hire one of the professionals in our area trained in the field, and equipped + motivated to deliver a much superior end product that you'll cherish for a lifetime!

Wishing you all the best with your decisions, and that you have the wonderful wedding of your dreams!!! Cheers :)

I will be getting married at the Grand Sunset Princess on November 30th, 2013... Sooo excited!

Thank you all for the great stories and advice. Do you guys mind sending along pictures of the "chill out" package. I love all the pictures.

We are planning on getting married here in Toronto and having a symbolic ceremony there. From what I've read it's probably best to have the vow renewal package and add on the wedding cake as an extra. For those that opted for the vow renewal package, did you guests notice the difference?

Many thanks!

congrats on booking your wedding there!

Hi Ladies,

It seems like we have similar plans, I am also getting married here (Mississauga) and just having a symbolic ceremony there. I am getting married November 15, 2013 at the Sunset gazebo and I have booked the chill out lounge. cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
