Grand Sunset Princess Resort

@dockgirl

true about the privacy.  Our ceremony is at 4pm- I wonder if the beach will be as busy at that time.  I keep going back and forth.  The advantage too of the sunset gazebo is that we are doing our ceremony at the chillout so it's all there.  Can't decide.

Does anyone know if when we submit our $200 if we need to also submit the forms for all the wedding details like flowers, and cake etc.  I'm not even there yet and I wanted to take my time deciding those details.

I chose the sunset too for the privacy. I really liked the look of the riviera gazebo and initially chose it. But then I realized the sunset was more private and switched. We have reserved the chill out too. Our ceremony is at 4 and we don't have the chill out till 6. I'm wondering if we should push back our ceremony?

Oh and when I sent in my deposit I didn't have any wedding detail filled in-only the ceremony location. Still haven't decided on the details

I walked up to the Chill Out beach once at around 4 and it was dead. Saw one couple in a lounge chair.

I have hardly made any decisions. The most important thing is the restaurant but you have already done that. I paid my deposit back in January.

That's good to know if was dead at 4.

I'm just wondering if my guests will be charged the daily rate if they have a drink there between the end of the ceremony and 6 when we have reserved it.

@Sara1603 thanks for the info. I'm going to send in my form today. I feel so behind.

When is your wedding date?

I haven't really made any decisions other than the sunset gazebo and the chill out zone. When is your wedding?

My wedding is Feb, 25 2015. 4:00pm I picked my cake and dinner at La Fondue. Oh and the cocktail hour after the ceremony. That's it. I'm making my own bouquet ( Brooch ) and going to attempt the wedding parties flowers and boutinieers so I'm holding off on ordering those. I don't think they're too worried about how soon you pick. I've heard of people arriving and changing their minds about things.
Actually I wasn't sent much info. I was told I'd get it all when they have their prices for 2015. I've been getting all my info and prices from people on these sites. T

Yes, it's a private group. Grand Riviera Princess Weddings. Search it and join. There's lots of good info from people who have been married there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
