Hi ladies,

I've been to this resort twice, just came back a couple of weeks ago, we went to quite a few of the a la cartes and took quite a few pictures of the Chill Out lounge for all who are planning to have their reception there but have never been. Send me your email addresses and I can forward what I have. Also, any questions, feel free to ask! I saw a couple of weddings and they all look amazing.

From reading these posts, it appears I'm not the only one who's a bit frustrated with the slow responses from the WC. I actually tried to get in touch with the WC while there and received no response.. Hopefully it's all up from here :)

Hi Ladies,

Im getting married at the riviera gazebo on June 25th. My group will be there from June 22 to 29. Any of you ladies getting married around the same time. How is your planning coming along.

We`re getting married at 3 pm. Im still hesitant to book the restaurant, since i have not seen tons of pictures that i can refer to. I initially wanted to confirm La Fondue but seems a little informal with the fondue set on the table for a wedding dinner.

So for now, i booked La Vaqueria. Any thoughts on this.

I thought about having more privacy for the dinner itself. But like everyone else, the prices are a little ridiculous, so i`m opting for what ever is included in the package and spend the extra cash on something else.

Also ive booked the beach cocktails with canapes on the beach from 8 pm to 10 pm. It ends up being $34 + 8$ for an extra hr per person.

I think this is a better than paying tons of money for the private receptions.

Would love to hear from brides who are also going to be there around the same time as we are!!!

My daughter is getting married there April 12, 13 and the reception is at the Chill out hut. If you have pictures of this, especially at night my daughter would love to see them. the only ones I have been able to get for her is from the resort itself. My email address is alronco2003@yahoo.com if you could email them to me that would be great.

Thanks

Hi there,

What fabulous post you did! Thanks so much for sharing all this information. Do you have any photos or your package information that you could share with me? We're looking at getting married here on Dec. 18th, 2013 and will probably do a similar option - mixed grill, chill out lounge for private reception, cocktail hour and dance floor. Also, what wedding package did you go with for the actual ceremony and were you happy with that? I'm looking for any information or photos people are willing to share! My email is j.amp04@hotmail.com.

Thanks!

Cassandra

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
