Grand Sunset Princess Resort

Recommended Posts

Hi girls,

For my outside photographer first they tell me 80$ per person + the meal 100$ per person (chill out)

Then they want to charge me 200$ per person + the meal but because I had keep my email they charge me 80 for the day pass... Until 22h00

Calibride for the outside photographer I had photosincancun.com Derek and Lorena and was so happy with my 3300 photos I keep them all day... Look on their web side in portefolio then wedding and in search put grand sunset princess you will see pictures of like 11 wedding that they do there and some of mine.... They are use to this place and are so good persons. Only good things to say about them :)

Shelbi I was abble to were my shoes for like 4 minutes and almost fall like 10 times... Really.

For the ceremony they only have a red carpet that I didn't took because my wedding was white and blue and red not really...

The carpet can help forthe ceremony but all evening... I don't think you should have heels... Bring them for the pictures...

Good luck every brides and enjoy your day!!!

Just to let all brides know our wedding at the grand sunset princess was perfect. We got married April 17th 2012. It was raining that day so we couldnt get married on the beach and had to get married under the gazebo which was still beautiful outside the disco. Our wedding was at 4pm by then the rain stopped and it was gorgeous.

We did the basic vow renewal package because we got married here in canada prior to save all the hassles. We had our dinner at the steak house which was really good. After dinner we hung out for drinks in the lobby area.

The disco opens up at 11pm so it maybe too late if people are thinking of partying afterwards. We had 20 guests and it was a very laid back atmosphere and stress free!!

It was a beautiful resort, great food and people.

Hi shelbi! I had my wedding at the Chil Out Club in April. The location is absolutely beautiful!! I ADORE my wedding pics because the location is jet sooooo gorgeous and unique! :) Definitely plan on wearing wedges or flats. I bought a pair of spectacular gold Kate Spade Stilletos and unfortunately they are ruined because my heel kept getting caught between the cracks. I ended up going barefoot the whole night which turned out great since it was soo fitting for a beach wedding, but unless you want to go barefoot walking down the asle, :) plan on buying some cute sandals! :) Let me know if you have any questions or want pics! Best of luck during this amazing time! GSP is a FANTASTIC location and I am sure I will exceed your expectations just as it did mine! :)

Hello ladies, For the brides that have already had their wedding at GSP, or those that have been there for a visit can you tell me what the deck is like at the chill out lounge? I read somewhere that the slats are  a bit wide and that high heels get stuck in them when you are walking. I've looked for wedges, but haven't had much luck and have my heart set on a great pair of heels but don't want to be worried about tripping all night. Can someone please clarify? Thanks!

We are getting married at the grnad sunset princess on december 11, 2012 and have so many questions.  We are doing the dinner in the steak house and a cocktail reception on the beach after.  The wc has told me that there is a max of 40 people in the a la carte restaurants.  We are now at 43 with kids...should we just play dumb when we get there...I can't imagine that an extra 3 people will make a difference????

Can you email me the contact information for Emma please and if you have any pics I would love to see them! I am starting to plan a wedding for next March at GSP!

 Hi Calibride 128,

Unfortunately emma no longer works for GSP. :( Sad but true. The above email address that Sandra26 gave you will go to the right person though and then you will be assigned a wedding coordinator from there.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Happy Planning!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
