So I guess I will get this started! I am trying to get orgz'd!

First off, how the heck is it that I am JUST tumbling along this "wedding planning journal" section?! I must always hit the "unread posts" and get into conversations from there! LOL! What a slacker I am! And the blogging?! I haven't even checked that out yet! OOPPPSS!

 

Anyhow, The DW is at Dreams PC 4-4-09. I feel like I have made some headway thus far. I am loving that all the summer sales are in heat right now and trying to take advantage of that! We have our attire thus far....

Here is my dress... Love it!

 

I think that I am gonna put a brooch / a flower at the sash.. I am not sure. and I also think that i am gonna tie the sash in the back so that it doesnt make my hips look wide!

 

Here are my possible shoes:

I want something that isn't high and that i can slip on and off since the ceremony and reception will be on the beach itself.

 

We got FI's suit at Kohls for $95 bucks and it looks great... actually my man of honor and BM along w/ the 2 dads are wearing the suit also, just a different but coordinating shirt and tie.

Shirt is a cream / light color and tie is: (matches my sash)

 

Mom got her dress- here it is(although we ordered it in a LIGHT blue/ ice color with a hint of green in it. While FMIL's dress is a long dress w/ spagetti straps and it is a sag color. appropriate for her since she is close to 70yrs old.

 

And of course... here is my engagment ring (which I never posted in the other thread! I am a total slacker!) It didn't seem to photo well.

I am in love with it! he did such a great job!

**UPDATE.... I AM WAY TOO EARLY TO POST THIS HERE, SO I ADDED A WITH THE INFO ON MY WEDDING PLANS UNTIL I AM READY TO UPDATE THIS FOR THE FINAL PLANNING PICS AS THE WEDDING GETS CLOSER....

Again... I am such a dweeb! Here I am starting mine, due to the fact that I get on here at all hours of the night and I missed the sticky!( I am obviously further than 2 weeks out from my wedding!) I am such a buthead. I apologize for the thread I started - you may remove it... or.... just move it to attire since that Is all I posted thus far?!

I love your dress and your ring is beautiful! My FI got the same suit and so did his dad. I think my dad was going to try and find the same one too. They are all going to end up matching, but it was such a great deal!
