Hey Ladies!

I have two couples attending my wedding that are coming from a different resort.

Does anyone know how much the day pass costs and how late they can stay at the resort?

Want to make sure they can stay until the end of my reception :)

Thanks!

17 days till Mexico!!

Does anyone have the bouquets that are offered included in the pacakges?  I am just looking to see what the options are, so if I don't care for them I can make other arrangements.

Thanks ladies :)

I have gotten a few pictures of what they have.  I don't know if they have many different options or if it depends on the the package you get.  These are a couple of the pictures I've gotten....

Again, I don't know if it depends on the package...Hope this helps!

No problem!  I'm actually going to verify all of this again, because our wedding coordinator left last week, so we are getting a new one.  It seems that our old coordinator missed some things, so I'm going to confirm everything with the manager here in the next few days.

To those of you who have gotten married at the GP Riviera Maya...

Could you share how the ceremony went?  I never get a straight answer from my wedding planner and I'd really like to finish working on our programs.  What order did they do things?  Did you have the hand ceremony? Sand ceremony?

Any help would be great :)

I am also staying at Kantenah.  My MOH was there a few years back for another wedding and says great things about it.  I am some what friends with the bride for the other wedding, and the other bride stayed at White Sands.  I asked her if she went again, where she'd stay, and she said either Kantenah or Colonial because the rooms that she saw were pretty similar, just the White Sands was newer and that's why they were more expensive...  I have a bunch of pictures my TA took when she went for a site visit in August, would you like me to post some of them?

All 65 of us are staying at the Colonial.  Both the Colonial and Kantenah are identical.  For us, the colonial was just best situated on the resort, closer to everything we needed but the Kantenah wouldn't be very far anyway.

I can't wait :) 2 more months until our departure!

    • The cooking method can double the calorie content of a meal, so learn about healthy cooking without having to add extra fats, like using a steamer,  a rotisserie , a slow cooker , a pressure cooker, a grill. Once you cook your own meals, you can control the calorie content because your control the cooking method and all the ingredients. A lot of people are overweight because they keep eating food that they did not cook.
    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
    • Thanks! I had it printed out. Very useful!!
