Hi amcmanus88! We are getting married at the Grand Palladium Kantenah on May 20th!! The photographer we went with was Bicoastal Images ... Jennifer and Manuel Salazar. There work is amazing and they are fairly priced and in Canadian dollars. We actually met up with them while they were here in Toronto. If you google Bicoastal Images you will find there work. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone!

just recently started looking at this resort for my jan 2016 wedding.

A couple of questions about the beach ceremony, can you choose to do it on a more private section and not use the white chuppah thing(not sure what its called)?

also I've looked at so many resorts now its hard to keep everything straight,  the wedding packages I saw on the grand palladium website seem a little too much then I'm wanting, ie not interested in the cocktail hour, just want a ceremony and private dinner somewhere.  Is there a complimentary package like some of the other resorts have where you can just customize and add on things??

thanks in advance!

Kim

Hi Kim,

I am also considering GP for my 2016 wedding. The past brides on this forum have really been helpful.

I am not sure about the beach ceremony because I will be having a Catholic weddng at the chapel.

Although I am still confused how there are 5 resorts in 1 place? And which to book for my guests. I hope the TA will help.

Thaks, Hilary

 Hello,

As far as I know of the packages do not include cocktail hours or anything else like that.  They include the ceremony and a semi-private dinner for up to 40 people.  Also, your guest list over 20 people will also cost an additional $20 per person.  If you have more than 40 people, then you will need to have a private dinner which is a lot more expensive.  There is a facebook page called BDW Grand Palladium Riviera Maya where past birdes have posted pricing and tips for this resort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
