i saw that in default mode the other day. removing ads isn't an option as far as I know. this forum is set up on a program used to run other forums. maybe on some forums when you click those links you get an option to subscribe to the forum or something else to get rid of them. on some forums, guests see ads but members don't. so maybe that is what that link is trying to do.

i think it's just a bug that the link is there. the ads support the forum so i don't mind them. flashing ones do give me a headache though so I usally resize my screen so they don't show the whole time im on BDW.

I think that the "remove" link is disabled but i am not sure - we need to hear from Tammy Host on that one.

But i would also like to elaborate on what Morgan said above, which is that these (new) ads support this forum and without him the forum would NOT EXIST or we would need to charge members a monthly or annual fee so please consider this information when complaining about the ads.

thanks!

Please donâ€t mistake my inquiry as complaining about sponsor ads...

I hadnâ€t signed on in a few weeks and was wondering if the link was an option (and broken) since the ads on all sides were new since my last visit too.

I was just trying to call attention to it in the "Bugs" forum if it was a broken option for "at work" days wink.gif

Guess itâ€s just a fluke though...thanks everyone!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
