Is anyone else one? I'm horrible. I have several magazine subscriptions... this is however great for my friends because they get them all when I'm done.

What are your favorite magazines to read?

This is my list:

Bust

BUST Magazine

B!tch

Bitch Magazine

Venus

Venus Zine: Emerging Creativity { women in music, art, film, fashion, d.i.y. culture }

MissBehave

Missbehave

Brain Child

Brain, Child :: The Magazine for Thinking Mothers

Parents

Parents - Pregnancy, Babies, Baby Names, Pregnancy Calendar, Ovulation, Birth & More.

Parenting

Parenting.com - The home of Parenting and Babytalk

American Baby

BabyTalk

Think I have problems?! Brian hates my absurd magazine subscription collection.

I used to be really bad. When I was in school (magazine journalism major) I had a ton of magazine subscriptions. I have significantly cut back since then. I do still have a Glamour, Shape, Self and Domino subscription. I don't think I am going to renew the Domino one though. This is the first year I got it and am not really into it.

Mike & I are horrible. I think we get a total of 15-20! We order them mostly from magazine subscriptions 5.95 by Discount magazine or Magazine Subscriptions Online from CheapMags.com or ebay, so we don't pay full price. We both take the train to/from work, so we're always grabbing a magazine for our trips. After we're done, I leave them in patient waiting rooms in the hospital where I work so others can read them (after blacking out my address of course!).

Off the top of my head, I can think of:

Us Weekly

Cosmo

Philadelphia

Marie Claire

Glamour

Fitness

Shape

Self

Entertainment

Fit Pregnancy

Sports Illustrated

Time

US News & World Report

Maxim and another 1 like this

2 or 3 other sports magazines

If my Us Weekly doesn't come on Friday like it's supposed to, I go and buy In Touch or People to hold me over til it comes...lol!

I've cut significantly back since I moved in with fi. but here's what i get now:

People

Glamour

Sports Illustrated

Rachel Ray

Brides

Carribean Travel

and i like buying the Us Weekly and Modern Brides. Fi is into mags as much as me, he doesn't like me telling people this but he loves to read People more than i do! And he's constantly bringing home those free home sale mags they have at grocery stores. I have piles of them at home, he never throws them out.

this is actually a great gift for someone - a few years ago, my parents got dh 5 different magazine subscriptions for 12-18 months. i think they got him 3 car, 1 snowboarding, and one cooking (which was a women's mag, but my dad picked it). his parents also got him top gear, which is a british car magazine, so a subscription is like $200/yr. he said it was one of the best gifts he had ever received.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
