Just an idea, is you could mount a piece of paper on one side of the invitation with corner punches to hold the inserts in place... kind of like this... http://www.oliostyle.com/wedding/ini...initials_4.jpg

Except, using a corner punch will only cost you about $7 TOTAL as opposed to having to by photo corners. Stampin UP has the one I'm using. It's called a Simplicity Corner Slot, it's $10.95, but you can find them at craft stores for cheaper. So, just punch the corners and then slide the enclosures under and they will be held nicely in place.

Great idea! Both the corner punch and the photo corner idea are great! Very creative.

Ann, I've been thinking...(that could be dangerous! lol!) and if you were still thinking about rearranging the clip art on your invites, I thought the palm tree would look great where you have it now. And then maybe use the starfish in the upper left corner. . .so the designs are diagonal from each other. Not sure if it's possible, but the starfish design reversed to fit in that corner might look cool. Kind of framing the text. I'm not sure how much sense that made all written out...just an idea though!!

Your invites look fabulous Ann! I really like them and you've given me inspiration to do mine on my own like this. I'm going to try and get a sample from Papel.

I love the color of your ribbon Christine. I need to find some nice ribbon on clearance like that!! I'm always making home-made cards for Bdays and Thank you's. It's a great finishing touch!

keep up all the amazing projects girls!!!

Ann, that is insane, are you kidding me, you made thosehuh.gif?

I don't understand.

so, you just used word to arrange the clip art and the wording,

then went to kinkos or something and printed it on fancy paper?

that's incredible!

how did you make the loopy thing that goes around?

I'm very impressed!

i bought the paper at a local art store - but Paper Source had a lot of options as well. i tore it to get the rough edges, and used my printer at home. crazy - eh?

i did use word to arrange the clip art and everything.

the band that goes around is just more paper - i cut the strips, and glued them together. it's all very tedious - but i think i can pull it off!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
