Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

j9 - first - not sure if you saw my post in the April thread but we've got an updated list of all our dates going since they're coming up so quickly - and I added you except for your name because I couldn't remember it or find it here SORRY!!!

second - I think the rehearsal is more just if you want a *formal* practice run of your ceremony. Otherwise I'm sure that you'll go through all the details and a "how things go" chat with Jacy or Sandra ahead of time so that both you and she have everything cleared up. That's just my assumption though so maybe someone else can confirm!?

Rehearsal is a formal practice run. I didn't do one. Unless you have a huge wedding party I honestly don't think you'd need a formal ceremony "run-through". A few days before my wedding we sat down with Sandra and went through every detail...which made me feel comfortable enough that I didn't want/need a formal rehearsal. Just my two cents

I'm not decided on the rehearsal either. Please share the extra cost if Jacy get back to you. We have a big wedding party and I may even want some of the bridesmaid/groomsmen to sit down during the ceremony so I feel a rehearsal may be necessary. But then again, the carefree/relaxed mexico vibe might take over and I might not wont to worry about a rehearsal.

hi girls, i have been reading through these pages for about 2weeks now. my sis is waiting for conf. from dpa for oct 2 2010. this site really helped us decide (ok-my sis) where to have the wedding. the dates for the fall were really scarce, but the list of dpa brides stopped in july. where are all the fall brides?? and how do they not know about this invaluable web site??

Guess it's too early to add 2011 brides on this, haha.

Hey gals, so finally a mrs. Will write a full report when I get home, but dont stress over anything. You can finalize all your stuff with Jacy-Sandra once your here. We met with her twice and she did such an amazing job. Everything was perfect. Will post a full review when I get back.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
