        Hi all-
I am wanting to have our reception on the beach but I was asked today if it would be windy/cool? Thoughts? The other choice we have at DPA is where outside? Help!!!

        Janna in snowy Calgary!!

          Hey Janna,

I have heard it is quite windy on the beach and I have read that some girls are talking about having their reception by the adults only pool which is protected by the main building so it's not so windy. Jacy has said it's possible to have it there but can't confirm it's availability until 3 weeks before the wedding so I'm just going to wait and see. Hope this helps.

          Jen

            Hiya Jen-
Thanks for the info...I think I will wait and see also. Is this the El patio or something like that Jacy means?

              Hi ladies.
I wanted to share some info that Jacy sent me:

How long and wide would the rectangle table be for 20 people?
              4.88m long and 1.50m wide
How long is the aisle way where you usually put the red carpet?
              Around 12m
Do you know how tall the posts are in the gazebo?
              2.50m each
When should I book appointments for the salon on our day for hair , makeup and nails? A month before the wedding

Maybe this will help some of you:)

Hi my name is Jamie and I will be married at Dreams Puerto Aventuras on September 18, 2009. I'm really excited and Jacy has been pretty great to work with, via email. I loved reading everyone's posts. My wedding color is Tiffany Blue and off-white. I look forward to sharing information with everyone when I get some time. Jacy's provided me with a lot of answers!

Welcome Jamie! I look forward to your posts sharing information you have received from Jacy. All of us Puerto Aventuras brides are starved for any info we can get. In return, you will find much valuable info from everyone on these boards. Once again, !!

The red carpet actually goes on the sand, correct? (where the volleyball is set up - or at least that's what it looks like in the pictures). Is there some sort of runner for inside the gazebo that's provided? Preferably, something white... or would you need to bring your own.
