Hey Janna,

I have heard it is quite windy on the beach and I have read that some girls are talking about having their reception by the adults only pool which is protected by the main building so it's not so windy. Jacy has said it's possible to have it there but can't confirm it's availability until 3 weeks before the wedding so I'm just going to wait and see. Hope this helps.

Hi ladies.

I wanted to share some info that Jacy sent me:

How long and wide would the rectangle table be for 20 people?

4.88m long and 1.50m wide

How long is the aisle way where you usually put the red carpet?

Around 12m

Do you know how tall the posts are in the gazebo?

2.50m each

When should I book appointments for the salon on our day for hair , makeup and nails? A month before the wedding

Maybe this will help some of you:)

Hi my name is Jamie and I will be married at Dreams Puerto Aventuras on September 18, 2009. I'm really excited and Jacy has been pretty great to work with, via email. I loved reading everyone's posts. My wedding color is Tiffany Blue and off-white. I look forward to sharing information with everyone when I get some time. Jacy's provided me with a lot of answers!

The red carpet actually goes on the sand, correct? (where the volleyball is set up - or at least that's what it looks like in the pictures). Is there some sort of runner for inside the gazebo that's provided? Preferably, something white... or would you need to bring your own.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
