Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

I emailed Jacy Sunday night with 2 simple questions. Are there any other weddings on my day? Do you have any photos of recent weddings? No answer yet. Not sure how long I should wait. I haven't really asked Jacy anything and the resort is open now so I don't know how long she usually takes. Natalia used to get back to me in like a day.

I would email her again, Bianca. Five days is too long...your email must have gotten lost in the shuffle. I have only communicated with Jacy through my TA, but whenever she has sent questions, Jacy responded within 48 hours.

Good Luck...I will be anxious to see any wedding photos that you receive!

I know many times emails can get lost, especially when going to foreign countries or overseas. She has been responsive in the past, so give her a couple more days after sending your second email. I know they have 3 WC's now at Tulum, and I think they're going to have to get her some help soon too. Seems like an awful lot for one person to handle.

It seems that when I email her it always takes 48 hours for her to get back to me. I know someone asked about activities we are doing a snorkling cruise the day prior to the wedding with Amstar. Jacy actually helped me get it set up, and they were also negotiable on the price.

I would have to say that it appears that Jacy is becoming more relaxed we have been communicating alot since the wedding day is getting really close we leave in 23 days!!! Now we just need to figure out when we will meet when we get there I am hoping to do it the day after we get there so it gives us both some time to work any kinks out.

Maybe she just doesn't like my questions? haha. No biggie. My secret fear is that my date and time is not actually reserved. I put it in every email, so I'm sure it is reserved, but I just want more confirmation.

lyales--- Your wedding is soooo close! I can't wait to hear about it when you get back.

Hi all-

I emailed Jacy last week also to clarify that my date of feb 18 2010 was reserved. We haven't booked rooms yet since its still a year away and I was getting some pre-bride planning jitters!!! Bianca, I heard from her today and it was coming up 5 days for me too. Not too worry....

So its been over a week since I sent Jacy that email. I resent it once already and still no reply. I'm not a very needy bride. This is the first time I have emailed her since a while ago. I just want to know what time other weddings are on my day!!! sad.gif I plan on calling her sometime this week until I actually talk to her.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
