I was under the impression that there was a charge to rent a dance floor. It is free because you are getting the DJ?

When I asked Jacy about having the reception outside she said it was possible with a dance floor and that they only extra cost would be the DJ. I toolk that as the dance floor was included. I could have misread her email though. Thanks for pointing that out....it's something I'll need to clarify with her as it gets closer!!

Who has their location for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception confirmed with Jacy? I am a little concerned about my day bc its Memorial Day weekend so I am assuming there will be other brides on my day since every where else I looked didnt have my day available.

Today I received my deposit confirmation from Jacy, and I had asked her when we could go over some wedding details. Considering I have 4 months to go, I figured she would have something constructive to say. Her reply was simply 'Regarding your wedding plans as soon as you have final decisions please let me know.'

Final decisions? We haven't discussed anything! All I know for sure is that I am getting the Ultimate wedding package. *sigh* I'm at a loss. What have you discussed with her in those regards?

My niece has found the best way of communicating with Jacy is to put all the questions in an email and list each one as a bullet. She keeps the questions very simple. Jacy has responded to each question in a similar manner, usually within a day or 2. I'm sure some of the DPA brides have already asked and gotten answers to alot of your questions, so ask away...

Hi Ladies!

I did not look back through the posts to see if anyone has posted this yet, but it may be an updated version. If its a duplicate I apologize! Jacy sent this document with bouquet / bout. examples to my TA this week and I wanted to share...

Hope everyone's planning is going well:) Here's a little update from me: My very generous and "crafty" friend offered to help me make boarding pass invites so I am going to get started on those and hopefully get them out in the next couple of weeks. Also we booked a venue for our at-home celebration...it will be a cocktail party in the afternoon-very casual. Still need to find a dress, tho...eek!

Just thought I'd share...How is everyone else's planning goinghuh.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
