Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I'm using my own photographer as well and was told no problem. I had asked if I could be credited for NOT using the photography in the package and she said no, other than that there were no issues. I just decided to book my photographer for 3 hours instead of 4 to save a little and use the pics in the package to cover that hour since I am paying for them.

I asked about exchanging the services for the videographer. i'm not too sure what I want to do at the moment. She said she couldnt give any definite answers, but possibly. I might start looking into other outside options for that and maybe just use the photographer for the rehearsal dinner.

Does anyone know if Dreams PA gives anything to you if you book 25+ rooms? I know Moon Palace gives the bride and groom a free 7 night stay AND unlimited private functions!! They also give you really good deals if you book 10+ rooms. But not sure if PA gives you much if anything...

I believe they do have covers, as that was in the information package they sent and is included at least with the Ultimate Package. I'm not sure what color table linens they have. I know she wants orange and pink for her wedding colors. Anyone else used those colors on this board? I know she is bringing her own bows and sashes too. not sure about table runners, tho
I AM ALSO DOING FUSCHIA AND ORANGE!

  • 2 weeks later...

Bianca and Reluctant...I just emailed Jacy and she said I could bring an outside photographer as long as they were a guest and does not have shop in Mexico. She said they have some agreement with the photog union of Mx and I could not use a Mexican photog. Isnt that what you both are doing? I am confused on the discrepancy.

If this is true, I am kinda bummed...not like I could afford most photogs to come in and do a ttd session, but I would like to have the option!!!

Also, Jacy said the resort is set to open in Dec, but the banner on the Dreams website now says Nov 08 again?!?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
