Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I have purchased my bridesmaids dresses as I only have 3. I have also purchased handcrafted turquoise and silver (not real!) bracelets off of etsy for each girl, I just got them today and I LOVE them. My BM's dresses are black and one of my colours is turquoise, which is why I really wanted turquoise jewelry. I personally like the bracelets because they are handmade and unique, so I think my BM's will love them :)

Congrats Becs75, sounds like you wedding was amazing and that you and your guests had a blast! It's so reassuring to hear that Jacki is amazing and that they work really hard to make our weddings special. Maybe you'll share some pics with us? I would love to see your reception set-up :)

I think she is overwhelmed at the moment as she is soon going to be the only WC at the resort as the other one is leaving. They already have 125 weddings booked for this year already. She was helpful and made things happen for us, even at the last moment. We did the Dreams of Love package(which was more than enough for our group of 32), Everything from the appetizers(beef kabobs are awesome) to our main course(pork tenderloin) were amazing. Our chicken wings came out cold and they brought them back heated. We had our reception on the beach and it was COLD(felt like a breezy fall Canadian night), but we had fun nonetheless.  If anyone has any specific questions, feel free to email me, [email protected]

Cheers and happy New Year!

Hi Adele! Congrats on picking your wedding date! :)

The wedding gazebo at Dreams is what sold me on Dreams PA too!! It is so beautiful!!  As far as price goes, I think you will easily be able to keep your guests at a budget of $1200-$1500!!   Good luck with all your planning!!    These forums are SO helpful, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
