oooh, I wouldn't mind a copy of the spa pdf either, if someone has it!!

And Janna - I think I remember someone just saying to contact the spa directly to get your appointment booked. As for the timing, I don't think it would be too early to book something now and then just make sure to confirm closer to your date? I just think that you'd rather make sure its set then be disappointed down the road.

You can contact Jacy or whatever WC (I had Sandra) and they will get you in touch with the spa to book your free hair and makeup appt. They also were able to book my mom and MOH for me around the same time.

I also posted to spa prices in a realllly previous post, so I don't remember where I put it.

Hi girls I am in the process of making my music lists for the wedding. I plan on taking my ipod with me and connect it to the sound system. We have a great song by ben harper or the hawaien version or somewhere over the rainbow for the ceremony (not sure yet) + one fron Jason Mraz for the toast. Any suggestions for the songs after, supper and reception? What are you girls using?

2 weeks of teaching and then its vacation time for me, christmas and mexico! cant wait!

Here's a link to a thread on customs. It's helping me figure out how to get all my wedding stuff into Mexico without a hassle.

Past DPA brides: How did you deal with customs?

Also Janna, the travel agency I booked with included round trip transfer from the airport. So I know it's available but nothing more then that.

Customs went fine for me. DH and I had 2 large and 1 small suitcase with our clothes, wedding, and OOT bag stuff. We also had our carry on bags. We both got the green light but they asked to look at one of our bags anyway because they saw the starfish platters through the xray. I had brought them for my centerpieces.

She asked how much I had paid for them and I told them and said it was for my wedding. Then I mentioned that I had the receipt (I had read on in another thread to save your receipts!) and started reaching for my folder with receipts. But the lady stopped me and told me it wasn't necessary and let us go.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
