Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

For example photos from the resort photographers, check out RoryS niece's pics. There is a link in prior posts. Also I don't remember who posted but someone on here met a DPA bride on TripAdvisor and posted her pics in a prior post.

For an example video from the resort videographer, Bianca posted a link to her video in prior posts.

For me, I think the video came out pretty good. They captured from the minute I started getting ready to make my entrance, the ceremony, some shots from cocktail hour, and shots of us taking after-ceremony pics. The video was about 20 minutes total. They play music throughout the whole video except the part when you say vows. That is where my only real complaint is...you have to turn up the volume loud on the video to hear our vows. I think the video microphone picked up the wind noise more than our voices.

I hired an outside photog so I can't speak to the resort photog's work. Hope that helps!

I never got charged for the extra chair covers. I also brought my own chair bows and they put them on the chairs for me, no charge.

Cool for booking Sascha...there are so many talented photogs in Mexico that it's hard to choose!!

I know that someone mentioned Jacy had been away for a long weekend and just got back maybe monday or so? I would just call her and try to sort things out, or at least remind her that you emailed (and give them the date you last emailed stuff - that seems to help!). And try not to stress, you'll be in the beautiful sun soon and we'll all be totally jealous!!

I was actually at a Dollarama store this past weekend looking at some bags that were meant to hold a wine bottle but were totally that coarse wickerish type that I think you mean. Not sure if you have the same chain where you are, but your local dollar stores might be worth checking out. If not, let me know how many you need and I could see about rounding them up for you! They had light beige ones w/ dark trip, medium brown w/dark brown trim and medium brown w/ burgundy trim I think?! Let me know!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
