Or are those flat rates, no taxes. I'm trying to figure out some budget items for our trip and because Jacy is out till MOnday...no luck moving forward. I'd appreciate help from those who are already married :)

14 days till I'm married here! Yeaaaaaaay! I can't wait to share pictures with you all. Wish me luck on the carribean staying calm :)
I believe they were flat rate charges.

Hey Dee!

So far 11 including us. Our invites went out this week so hopefully there will be more...I want to have a party!!!

We went with the Ultimate package. The photo are the next big thing after the dress I agree! I was worried about that but like Ginalynl posted, I saw RoryS's neice's pics and they were good. I bought the "real simple" wedding planner 2009 and it has a whole page on what pics to ask for in sections. When the bride is getting ready, wedding party etc so I am going to photocopy that and give it to the Jacy and the pho-tog before so they know what pics I really want.

I am so excited we will be there at the same time!!!

Hey Janna,

I havent seen the photos on here I keep getting to page 50 or so on the thread and lose my place, still working through them. I have seen the postcard snipit not any others, I am waiting to hear from Jacy about the Ultimate package and also this elusive wedding guide she sends. I dont have enough points yet to view it. sad.gif or the flowers. I am currently trying to decide which STD invites I should do up and send out lol. I think we may get another 10 people coming. I think its great we are going to be there the same time. Are you guys staying on longer than the one week?

Ha, I did it I spent all day going through these posts lol. Now I just have to wait to hear from Jacy regarding all my questions. Ok so I have seen a whole lot of PDF's on here that I cant open yet lol. I keep posting but its slow. Hopefully Jacy will send me one this week otherwise I will be begging a bride or too to mail me haha. I have seen the resort photographer and he's good but I just dont think 50 will cover it plus the TTD dress session. I am super excited that they leave you with bargaining room for the packages. I am not much of a bargainer but am going to try my best.

Thanks to all you ladies who have worked so hard to keep us up to date with vendors, and online resources. I appreciate all your hard work.

I'm not quite sure what kind of STD you are looking to have but have you checked out this section of the forum yet? There is tons of info!

I want my reception in el patio as well. My understanding is you can only rent it if the resort is below 60% full. I'm hoping a month out, Jacy will know if it's possible.

I'm stessing about not knowing if I'll be inside or not. For ex, I'd have plum table clothes if we're outside and orange if inside... etc.

MonicaC, Amazing pix. Thanks for sharing. I'm so thankful for all the pictures in the conference room. It looks like there is one wall with a lot of picture windows. Everything turned out beautiful. How did alcohol work? Did servers bring people drinks?

Also I saw a rope/lasso during the ceremony, tell me about that tradition and why you chose it. Thanks

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
