Your wedding is so close I hope you get your answers!!! Have you tried asking baltobabe for help? She is on some other forums and knows basically everybody at the Dreams Resorts. Let me know if you want her email... Shes popular, so a quick google would probably pull it up too.

we decided to have the reception at elpatio, and the rehearsal at the pool and I've made my deposit 2 weeks ago, still no confirmation or anything. has anyone asked any questions about having the reception at one of the restaurants?

They can't confirm having the reception location til close to the wedding date. I think Jacy says like 2 months before. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. (it has to do with the occupancy level of the resort)

Hiya DPA ladies-

I haven't been receiving the email to let me know there have been new posts...so that's why I have been MIA!! I am worried you all will be gone when its the 2010 bride's turns..don't leave us!!

 

About the reception, Bianca is correct. That's what Jacy told me too and its also in our wedding guide.

I'm trying to locate the email my niece sent me from Jacy, but I seem to recall that they are 5' in diameter. I believe my niece ordered 72" overlays, which would give you a drop of 12", but I'll double check to be sure.

Hi everyone. I too have been MIA, but Jacy hasn't been answering any of my emails so I don't have anything to share, haha! I did decide to email the resort itself and got the Spa menu. I believe Reluctant Beach Bride has the menu too but I am going to attempt to attach it here.

 

I also received a Spa menu for different specials they run each day of the week.

 

Lastly, I received some menus for the private romantic dinners if anyone was curious as to what was in those. A bit pricey...$250 or $200 USD per couple.

Thanks! I just ordered my stuff from Prestige Linens. I got:

26 x Polyester Napkins Orange 431: $23.40

26 x Mirror Organza Sashes Orange 431: $42.90

5 x Mirror Organza Overlays Orange 431: $50.00
*Overlay Size : 75" x 75"
+ $3.00 $7.00

Total was about $125? :/... Oh well. I might use the stuff for the AHR. FMIL is supposed to come over today... Hopefully I can pull her out to Michael's to do some shopping!
