Well, I am just over a month, approx. 5 weeks, so I figured I would get the ball rolling and I wrote an email to the general info address to ask about this. I got a reply from the concierge a day later and they attached a "spa menu" and deposit form. Well, I was confused, so I wrote back and said that the hair and makeup appointment that I want to schedule is included in my package, why do I have to send a deposit and now...no reply. So, has anyone had to deal with this yet? Do we have to give a deposit and will that then be applied toward our package? I just think that is a little silly.
I emailed Jacy directly...i wanted a trial one a couple of days before, so she is scheduling the appts. Can you send that spa menu? THANKS!

Can you PM me your email address? I tried to upload the Spa Menu as an attachment in a post and it is too large and I can't figure out how to attach it to a PM.

Cool and they are ok with that? Dreams that is.

Hi, I'm at my honeymoon now but for the wedding we used an ipod. They provided speakers and the ipod connector for like $140. We had 16 adults and 10 children. 6 of the children ate from a children's dish of chicken tenders...about $25 each. I had the top package and after my deposit, the additional cost based on some of the stuff we added was about $2600. All the chairs had covers on them I didn't ask. We tipped the guy at the front desk $100 to make sure he gave everyone rooms together and Jacy another $100 to make sure the vollyball net was down and there were no people hanging out near the gazebo. I had the put the chairs and the tables facing not the middle of the gazebo but the right so that the hotels didn't come out in the background. If you book a honeymoon suite you get preferred club access which means you get free net. Everything came out great.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
