Hi Aug0208- I am getting married the week before you! - October 29, 2009! I actually will still probably be at the resort when you get there! I am not far in the process of planning things but if I bring any stuff with me, you are more than welcome to have it after I am done. What are your colors? Mine are green and bright orange and maybe fuscia.

Oooh crap, I didn't even think about that. Thank goodness you asked.

I found this thread:

So I think I might have to go with freeze dried to be eco-frielndly. Thanks for the warning, Rory!

Rainfall --Welcome! I am not sure how US prices and procedures differ from Canada. There have been a couple Canadian brides that have posted on this thread, so hopefully they will chime in!
Hey Rainfall, I haven't booked yet but am getting tentative quotes from my TA at approx. $1850 out of Vancouver, so you may get a bit less than that. They haven't actually come out with the tour operators packages yet and won't until April or so. If I book now at those prices and they actually come out lower, then I have been told I will get the lower price. Also, there may be early booking bonuses avail. but again....you won't know till the packages come out. Talk to a few travel agents and get some quotes. GOOD LUCK!

What are everyone's thoughts on the photo quality?
My first impression is that the colors are very bright bright.

Hey Beautiful Bride, thats very good to know. Unfortunately I've already booked with a TA in the USA but maybe I can look into a tour operator for my guest. Which one are you using?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
