Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

The funny thing is that the one with my charge information didn't get lost, you know? Anyway, still haven't heard back and I cc'd everyone again so lets see what happens.

These were my questions:

-I know that the gazebo gets decorated with tulle, do you have extra tulle over there or should I bring my own?

2-Is the only place to get married the gazebo? Do you have any pictures of the other locations that are available outdoors? Near the barracuda bar looks beautiful from the pictures...or the lagoon area.

3-You mentioned that I have to make the appointment at the salon for the hair...does the salon do the makeup as well? Have the other brides been utilizing this service since the hotel re-opened? Should I bring my own makeup?

4-Also, do you have any information on the photographer? Name and website? I'd like to check this before I make a decision on whether I should bring my own or not.

5-Is there a separate children's menu? I know that my wedding package includes 20 people. I currently have 26 including myself and my fiance but within that count I have 3 2 year olds and 3 5 year olds, basically 6 small children, what is the additional price for them, is there a children's menu?

6-Do I need to confirm the food choices with my guests beforehand? From reading the boards, I've heard that you can only choose 1 entree for everyone? The guests won't have a choice at the time of the dinner? Would I be able to choose 2 entrees? How would this work? Is there an additional cost involved?

7-All of my guests have marina view rooms. 9 of my guests will be arriving on the 7th of April, 15 guests on the 8th. Would it be possible to place them all next to each other or on the same floor? 2 of those families have 4 children each with 2 rooms reserved for each family and they need to be together. I know that this isn't guaranteed but is there anything we can do to try to accomodate this at least for the 2 large families?

I sent Jacy another email asking more specific questions and it seems the answers I got were very vague. They really did not answer any of my concerns at all. It didnt even seem directed at me just seemed like a mass email that could go out to anyone. Maybe i'll give it a few more days and see before i make my mind up one way or the other.

So I've sent someone(?!) an e-mail and have heard nothing back! Any help would be great!! Thanks =)
lp579..the final answer I got was a HOTEL room for the night, not just a guest pass for the day. It worked out cheaper for me to bring one from home as well....

Let us know your questions since we probably have all asked her similar ones. I have better luck calling her.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
