Does anyone know anything about the availability of chair covers at DPA? I have bought my own sashes by am not sure if I need to also buy my own chair covers. I want to cover the chairs in the gazebo for our ceremony. Do they have these to use or rent? If I buy, I suppose I will need to know the size of the chairs? I am sending an email to Jacy to ask but sometimes takes a while to get a response. This board always seems to have quick great response. smile03.gif

TIA

They do have white chair covers there. The covers are included with the Ultimate package. I am unsure about the other packages. Since the package only covers twenty people, I imagine there will be an additional cost for every chair cover over twenty, though!

I am also very curious how everyone is going to decorate the gazebo. I would like to drape fabric over the middle top post the down the sides to kind of replicate the beach arch i showed iin an earlier post. Not sure how much fabric I would need though. Bianca did a great calculation for havingt fabric across the ceiling and said it would take maybe 5o yards for a piece from each corner to the center.

Here is a pic that sort of shows what I mean, but I would use white shear fabric and gather the white lanterns in the middle, then use blue LED ligts so at night they are blue...

Also, is anyone doing chinese lanterns in the gazebo? Are you using battery operated LED lights? I wanted to do this but then I wondered how to turn them on after they are hung. I wouldnt want them on during the day, but later in the evening(we are having our dinner reception in gazebo). Any ideas, experiences with this??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
