Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Ok, dumb question, but does anyone understand what Puerto Aventuras actually is? Below is a link...from what I gather, it's a gated community, and when you enter there are about 7 resorts (Dreams PA being one of them). You will then have access to the different activities that Puerto Aventuras (the town) has to offer? Any clarity on this would be great...here's the link again to the site that Elizabeth found:

Thanks!! My niece is booking for June 12, 2009. She wants to have her wedding in the gazebo (I assume the pictures you posted are from the "old" Sunscape resort). Does anyone else plan on having their wedding there and if so, how many chairs can it fit? Will they also decorate the chairs with covers, bows, etc. Also, does anyone know what renovations to the actual resort are being made? I believe she is going for the Ultimate package. She received prices from both Tulum and PA and the PA prices were different on some things.

Hello Everyone....

I am so excited that we have started our own group. My fiance and I will be getting married at PA on 2-28-09. I am curious who Natalia is?? I have only been working with Jacy. Please fill me in on any other details that you may know with the hotel and the renovations!!

Natalia is the wedding coordinator that I have been in contact with... I have not spoken with Jacy at all. The resorts usually have the main coordinator and then their assistant, so maybe each of them are one of those... I will add you to our list... Looks like you are our first DPA bride so far! YAY!

I do not know how many chairs the gazebo fits.. Have you tried asking a coordinator? I will try to send them an email sometime this week. I hope they have chair covers! I plan on bringing my own sashes and table runners tho.

I believe they do have covers, as that was in the information package they sent and is included at least with the Ultimate Package. I'm not sure what color table linens they have. I know she wants orange and pink for her wedding colors. Anyone else used those colors on this board? I know she is bringing her own bows and sashes too. not sure about table runners, tho

No photographershuh.gif Natalia said no problem when I asked about my photographer. I am using Martha Roque. I have no idea who their photographer is... but if anyone knows about the videographer I would be interested?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
