Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help me! I'm getting married in April 2016 at dreams Puerto adventures and just wondered if anyone has pictures of decorations or flower choices that they have at the resort? I am going with the ultimate wedding package but it doesn't specify what decorations are included or options. I would just ask wedding coordinator but apparently she doesn't make contact until 1 month prior but I just want to know ahead of time.

Hi Everyone,

I am getting married in September 2016 and i have asked the WC to put a hold on The Patio since Dec 2015 for our reception just to find out that it would cost an additional $900 for rental and that they could only have min pp > 35 when I had told them back in Dec 2015 that my wedding party would be between 20-25 max. Have anyone had the same problem? also is any additional charge for food in The Patio? as my package already includes the golden dinner package ... definitely no paying extra for dinner

Thanks a lot

@@sandruchi Hi there!  I got married at DPA in December and I started planning my wedding about 13 months in advance.  They do not confirm the restaurant until about 1 to 2 months out. If you go out to the website, the brochure has the prices for all the packages.  We had the dreams ultimate and paid extra since the packages only cover 20 people.  Once you go over 25 people, you have to pay extra for everything.  Down to the chairs.

They didn't tell me about the 35 person minimum for El Patio, but it was suggested that I use another venue since El Patio was so big and we only had 28. I guess they have since changed that.

Do you have any other questions?

I also got married at DPA last May. We had 40 people and rented out El Patio. My DW confirmed about 6 months in advanced, probably because I kept bugging her about it haha. The only cost to El Patio was the $900 as they close the restaurant for the night. And package is inclusive for up to 20 people. If you have 25 people coming, then you'll need to pay extra for 5 people - that's including food, drinks, chairs etc

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
