Hey Ladies!

I was just wondering if anyone used the hotel photographer for their pictures? i am getting the Ultimate package and it includes this in it but I am somewhat hesitant that this may not be a good idea.

Also, it says on the package that you recieve the Honeymoon package. Does anyone know what this ishuh.gif

Thanks!

So can anyone give me actual prices you paid and numbers of photos that you got for your wedding (resort photog or otherwise). It just seems SO expensive to hire an outside vendor once you factor in the additional fees. We're looking for simplicity in this whole destination wedding thing, not lots of details to figure out. But I want more than 70 pictures, and we definitely can't afford more than $600-700. Is this completely unrealistic? I do want decent pictures...This totally has me stressed now. frown.gif
I booked Octavio Montes for my wedding. He is very reasonable and his pictures are pretty good. Just getting a disc of all the pictures he takes, which will be delivered to us before we leave Mexico (which we need because we are having our AHR a week and a half after coming back home). His website is Mayan Riviera Wedding Photographer and he responds pretty quickly to emails.

Should I say Puerto Aventures, Mexico of the second to last line instead or leave it as I have it? I'm confused on the whole town, state, country thing.
Hey!

I just had my invitations made and sent them out within the last few weeks. I am attching the concept design that was sent to me so hopefully it helps with your invites!

How much did everyone tip or plan to tip at the resort? I was reading on another forum here and a lot of people tipped their WC, the waiters, and anyone who helped at the resort. Should I plan on tipping the WC? If so how much?

And what about waiters? Do you tip at every meal or just once before you leave?

I'm wondering what I should expect and what I should tell my guests to expect.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
