I didn't. We looked into it again and decided that if the resort photos weren't ok, that we'd get a pho-tog in the summer at our 2nd reception in Saskatoon. I'll admit, a little worried about the photos.....undecided.gif

Hi! I saw rainfall s wedding on Friday and we left yesterday. It was beautiful, she had the ceremony in the gazebo and reception on the beach.

We got married at 4pm and it was a perfect time for us. The gazebo was oh so windy but it made really nice pictures with the wind and the waves. We had the reception in the private room above the el patio because it was so windy , it was all decorated for us, and free of charge. I was happy about that choice.

Be careful because some things seems to change from one person to another and one year to another. They also try to charge you for some items but then if you say no, they do it anyway and you don t have to pay for it. I need to put the pictures on my computer but I m not sure how I can post them here... I will try along with my complete review.

Its good to be home after 2 weeks. I am back all tanned, married and a qualified scuba diver ah ah! Rest assure ladies that you made a perfect choice in choosing the DPA for your wedding , it is more then perfect. Talk to you later

Hey ladies this is what the chief concierge wrote to me about upgrades for room. Due to getting married we get upgraded on availability to a Deluxe Marina View from Deluxe Gardenview for free. Should we choose these are the alternate options:

Deluxe Garden View to Deluxe Ocean View = $75usd per night

Deluxe Garden View to Deluxe Honeymoon Marina View = $110usd per night

Deluxe Garden View to Deluxe Honeymoon Ocean View = $150usd per night

She also told me that golf is free tee times after 12:30 pm and before 1230 pm its 35US per person. Also there is a mandatory $35 Us per ps golf cart rental. Which isnt too bad when you come to think of it.

She sent me the spa prices etc but not sure how to convert it. I did notice that hair updo's were not on the list. Can anyone tell me how much its going to cost my bridesmaids to get there hair done if they want.

24 days till we leave today. Eeep.

Hey Dee! If you can get an ocean view room I say go for it. The views to the ocean are really pretty.

As far as spa prices I posted the spa menu in a prior post. You can click on "Search this thread" and search for spa menu or something like that. It should pop up! Good luck!

Update: I just looked it up. Post #856.

Hi all-
A month today I'll be walking down the aisle!!! Woohooo!!!! smile03.gif

We are doing gazebo for ceremony and for the reception, I haven't decided. I want to look 1st I think. I like the lagoon/adults pool and am curious about El Patio. We went with the Ultimate Package so our dinner is the Gold menu I think?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
