Aww, Amy I'm sorry! I guess in my mind when I think of dressing up like Cinderella or Snow White I think of Mickey and Minnie in the wedding party too... a little too out there for me! Sorry - I didn't mean to make it look like I was making fun of you. smile03.gif

I love it! I love disney, I don't care how cheesy it is. Cinderella is my absolute favorite! I keep secretly hoping someone I know will get married at Disney and I will get invited!!! The only thing that I don't like is wearing the actual costume. I love cinderella but I wouldn't want a blue dress with puffy sleeves either. But I think getting married there would be beautiful. Can you imagine getting married in a castle with fireworks? I mean it has got to be magical. My friend is getting married in June (she is obsessed with disney) and she is going to have 2 disney ice sculptures. I will post pics when I go. She said her wedding will be very disney inspired so it will be interesting to see what it is like. Also, for some reason I don't think they will make the brides gowns the same as the characters costumes. I mean it will probably just strongly resemble them or be inspired by them. Plus I think we are all thinking of their main costumes and not the ones they wear when they get married. If you remember princess Jasmine had a completely different outfit than the blue "harem" outfit she normally wears. And Cinderella also had a poofy white princess dress in the end remember?

I also think it would be VERY magical to get married at Disney and with a princess type dress, but certainly not the yellow/blue/red dresses that they wear in normal day to day characterness!

HECK NO!!! It would make me feel like a little girl. My parents would dress me up in my Disney outfits all the time. I loved it when I was a little girl, but it would be TOO much for me at my wedding. I would just feel silly.

Glenda, I think you would make a pretty Cinderella. I think this world needs a brunette as Cinderella and you are the perfect candidate.

Aww Angie you are so cute! Thank you for the nice compliment. I wish I was cinderella. LOL. Although I look more like princess Jasmine with my dark hair and features.

for those of you who do not look like a blonde haired blue eye princess. Disney has announced they are going back to their princess format of movies but the first one out will be a black princess from New Orleans. The Frog Princess.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
