I was originally supposed to get married June 2009, but I was being too nice and made sure that I was accomidating everyone. Needless to say some people could not come. I decieded on January 2010 and did not ask anyone and sent out the invitations. It was a lot less stressful. You can't accomidate everyone, just plan ahead in enough time for people to get off of work.

Happy Planning everyone!
We knew we wanted April or May. We had three dates as options, according to our vacation time at work and May 15th, worked for us and the resort. Now, I actually like May 15, 2010! :)

My date was the best I could come up with based on what I know. I wanted a month where the rain averages were low, and I knew it needed to be AFTER Easter/spring break to get the best rates....avoiding winter tourist season and staying out of the highest temps left me with May/June, and since June is a big wedding month no matter where you are, I just went with May. Billy didn't care..lol. So this was all me. He picked Mexico cheesy.gif

I'm getting married on June 29, 2010 @ San Jose Del Cabo! Some of my would be guests go to school, so it was important that I pick a date that didn't conflict with school schedules. I hear it gets hot in Mexico during that time, but I hope it isn't that bad.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
