Were getting married in January 2010 because I like to have thing planned way in advance or I get stressed :) There is a downfall though, prices are much higher the further in advance you are...Im going to try and hold out as long as I can but YAY!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!

Hello everyone! So as I posted before I am planning to have my wedding July 2010...I know it is quite far away, but its NEVER TOOO far away to PLAN right?!! I know I might have to wait a little bit longer to book my wedding..I guess it depends on the resort?! Well happy planning to all! This is exciting!

November 2010 here...still deciding on the location/resort though. The WC I talked to said we can get together at the end of summer to look at prices and then booking something so we'll have a better idea then. It's a toss up between Mayan Riviera or Dominican and I think the prices will help us decide that. I hate that's so far away but like most we wanted to give our guests lots of time to save up. Well and we need to save as well...haha

But this way I can spread out the spending. I've already bought a few things for our OOT bags but I wish I could do more. Kinda hard though when you don't have a set date or place.....

We are getting married June/July 2010 in Cabo. I've just started doing some research and so far we are very interested in either the Riu Palace or Riu Santa Fe.

We are also looking for options to hold the ceremony/reception in case we wanted something more exclusive.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
