I use Vichy Normaderm scrub/toner in the AM + plus Clinique defensewear eye cream. If Im not lazy or half in a coma before bed, I use Vichy Normaderm foaming cleanser and Clinique nighttime defensewear. I swear I see a difference in my skin since using Vichy... I could be hallucinating though. Im pretty sure my skin likes the fact that I quit smoking 6 years ago too... I really didnt want those smoking lines on my mouth - icky.

after years of having no real skin care regiment, a friend recommended Dermologica and I have been using their products for a couple of years. I like the results, but it's so friggen expensive so I'm looking for a more cost effective routine. I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts...can anyone recommend a product for sensitive skin?

Yamille, you've got great genes! Holy cow, you don't look 33. Oh I love skincare products -- well, products in general. blush2.gif I'm excited to see what you ladies like! I use:

Facial cleanser: Shiseido Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam. It works great and has gentle tiny beads in a quantity low enough for everyday use.

Btw, I LOVE this brush Shiseido The Skincare Cleansing Massage Brush - Cleansers Skincare Shiseido - Beauty - Macy's Talk about a thorough cleansing!

Toner - Shiseido Balancing Softener (alcohol-free)

Moisturizer - Day: Neutrogena SPF 15, Night: Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Gel (I've noticed that my skin is more even)

Eye cream - some Aveda moisturizing cream

Mask - Aveda tourmaline charged radiance mask (skin feels so soft and clean)

Blemish control - Love Clean and Clear

My mom, grandma, aunts all use Shiseido products and have AMAZING skin. Hopefully, this trend won't skip me haha.

Can anyone recommend an exfoliating scrub?

You really don't need a high budget to go organic. I use Physicians Formula Organic tinted moisturizer for my base. I also go to Nature's Oasis for everything else. They carry only organic makeup. I use face bars that I found on etsy and Tree hut scrub for my body and their body wash. It's not expensive at all. Trust me I don't spend more than 10 bucks on one item. Usually not over 5. I have sensitive skin and found since I've gone organic that nothing irritates my skin anymore. Theres no harsh chemicals going on me. And I love it!

I would recommend going to a health food store and they carry great items.

Ohhh I absolutely LOVE facial products!

I'm 32 years old and have been trying different products since I was in 6th grade! crazy! My favorite store in the whole wide world is Sephora! I can spend hours in that place!

I recommend Dr. Perricone products. Features - NV Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals

They have a fantastic Olive Oil Gentle Cleanser with DMAE and Face Hydrator. I've been using his line since I was probably 18 years old & it is the best! My FI makes fun of how excited I get when I talk about these products but it's because his products are truly AWESOME! FI thinks I should go work for Dr. Perricone!

As far as exfoliator, I use Dior:

Dior Exfoliating Face Scrub - - Nordstrom

After using this exfoliator your face feels like a baby's bottom!

What I like most is how gentle the product is yet it still produces fantastic results!

Thanks Fanny. My mom looks young but honestly it's cause she takes car of her skin like it's going out of style. NO SUN EVER. She'll always wear a hat. she planted the being obsessed with products seed in me.

I am actually looking for a good one too. I have been using Kiehls Pineapple scrub but I think it's just ok. Not amazing.

I am a complete Mary Kay nut! I use the cleanser & moisturizer daily; microdermabrasion once a week; and firming eye cream daily. I also use all the foundations & makeup. (But I also sell it!! LOL). Even if I didn't sell it I would still use it - its the only product I have found that keeps my skin clear & believe me...I've tried everything!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
