Symbolic Name "Cooligraphy"

As an engagement present my mom had this done for us......

 

 

That is mine and Matts (its framed and hanging in our living room!).....basically what this guy does is he takes your names and your "story" and combines them into a picture. My mom was there when he did it and said it was AWESOME! She told him the whole story of us meeting and our engagement, our life together (the house, the dogs, etc) and he put all of that into the picture that is made out of our names......I hope I explained that clearly enough! For example, the M and the double T's in Matt's name signify our home, the top of the J, signifies the long journey from the time we met until we got engaged, etc. Its awesome! And best of all, you can use it for whatever you want, no copyright or permission needed.....SO....I think we are going to incorporate it into our invites, etc. Matt's mom knows a place where she can have it made into a stamp, so we will go from there. Just thought I would share!

That is so beautiful!! Thats so neat that basically every line tells your story. If possible, could you have it blown up and framed for your wall? What are the two little loopy squiggles on the side? What part do they mean?

really really cool, I think it would be so neat to incorporate it as your monogram in your invites. The stamp idea would be really cool too.

Oh, it IS framed.....this was just the scan of it, so we can use it for other stuff.....I'll try to get a pic of it in the frame, etc.....
