Agreed, that its not rude at all...then again I don't have kids, so I can care less if that was on my invitation. Not sure how I'd feel about it if I did have kids and couldn't find a sitter...probably different point of view then.

But its your party and your decision...smile67.gif

It is not rude at all to not have kids at the AHR. Especially since you don't have room. If people start complaining, then you can let them know that there is a limited amount of room for people, so if kids are coming, you will have to revise the guestlist and will have to make cuts. You could always tell them if you make cuts to the guest list, you want to be fair, so you are going to draw names to see who gets to come! LMAO!!!!

Anyways, if I was invited to a party with no kids, I would take advantage of a night away from the kids. We will be having kids at our AHR but we have 2 kids, and we don't want to leave them out, and they aren't going to have much fun without other kids. I think that we migh find a couple babysitters that can take the kids into another room during most of the evening and do activities with them. We went to a wedding like that and each kid gota goodie bag with fun items appropriate for their age. I think they even had supper in the other room too, so the parents could enjoy their food.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
