Lost his ring....already

A friend of my FI lost his ring I think it was less than a month after they got married. The guys had gone a boating trip and this guy jumped off the boat and his ring went to the bottom. Apparently they searched for it for awhile but nothing. Needless to say his wife wasn't too happy. He got an inexpensive replacement!

Thankfully his is not an expensive ring. It is a tungsten ring but we paid very little compared to a lot of them I found. I guess that is why I am not stressing about it all that much. I do like the idea of us finding it though. I am not one that feels he HAS to wear one. I guess I leave that up to him but I do like the physical evidence that we are married. I am not a jealous person but he is laid off (permanently displaced) right now and when he does get a new job I would like a ring on his finger as a back off sign..lol Ok maybe I have some closet jealousy..lol I am hoping it just turns up but if not I guess we will be ring shopping soon. I am thinking we would just get the same ring since we both liked it so much

Oh no! Boys are so dumb sometimes!

I have a friend who lost his ring on his honeymoon - in the ocean, of course. He went out and bought a bunch of cheap silver ones. Now he's got a handful of replacements for the next time!

OMG I just looked this site up and I am lovin it. How are they holding up? I guess it really wouldn't matter since you could just replace it with another. How do they look? Hollis wants to get the same ring he had. We only paid $50 for it so it isn't a big deal but $50 is $50.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
