Maybe that's for the Spa at the Grandhuh.gif
I'm going to email my WC to see what the story is.
I have completely different prices for 2010 Del Mar. The Del Mar is the lower end hotel out of the 5, you would think those prices would be cheaper, but a manicure is $69.

Taken from the pdf file.
Spa Treatments (our luxury Spa offers an entire world of sensations just for you)
•Brides hairstyle US$ 110
•Manicure US$ 69
•Pedicure US$ 79
•Relaxing Massage – 50 minute US$ 99
•Relaxing Massage – 30 minutes US$ 68

I think it's terrible that there is so much confusion on the pricing. Hopefully they get this figured out for all of you.
The Spa prices are just a little different than the sheet the WC sents you. Did you use the price sheet from the WC or did you go with what the Spa had listed when you were down there?

Thanks

I am really frustrated with this resort!!!! I know there have been great reviews once you get down there, but with the different responses for the same question, it is really hard to plan anything. I mean how hard is it to have 1 consistent price list for the spa?? They even change WC. Lily was always great at responding, but then Mayra started responding and doesn’t answer really anything. The last email I received (I needed the size of the tables in the Los Vitrales room to order table runners) was from Lily, but they told me she was no longer a WC. How confusing! Also, tripadvisor & iberostar-board said the Beach and Del Mar are closed and it has been said they might not open until December. Everyone has been ugraded to the Lindo, the Lindo to the Maya, and Maya to suites or cheaper upgrades to the Grand. I don't even know if I will be at the Lindo for my wedding!! I am sorry to sound so negative, but I really needed to vent!!

toshalea- lust sending you positive vibes. Don't stress yourself out hon! But go ahead and vent to get it out! Just think once u get down there-things will be all tropical and all good. In exico they are just more laid back. Your questions will be answered in time. But please don't stress...your wedding is just around the corner:)

I have been to the resort and they are great. I have talked to my wedding coordinators and several other coordinators are on vacation. As for the salon their is only one for all the resorts. I will tell you that the Del Mar and Beach offer a wedding package that includes all of them for a couple $100 more. I am so sorry that you are frustrated. The entire reason that we are doing this is to have less stress. Best of Luck. Vent anytime.

Search the forums on Tripadvisor.com. I was reading there today and some people have said it was supposed to open Oct 1st. If you read through forums on there, you will see that several people only learned about the closings thru tripadvisor. It seems odd to me that the resort doesn't have to tell people about closings. Tripadvisor ppl said maybe because then people may book with a diff resort anyway just to avoid so much confusion. There is a lot of "talk" but very little confirmation of things on some of the forums I read! Everyone seems to be confused!

The wife and I just returned last night from a week stay at the Lindo. The Beach and the Del mar reopened on Wednesday Sept. 30th. They had a large conference of 300+ dentists that came in. The grounds are still just as beautiful and it appears that they didn't miss a beat.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
